Chassis pitches nose-up on throttle, nose-down on brake. Continuous pitch torque tuned for ~3° steady state. Toggle on to feel the car squat.

DoF tightens + pushes focus forward with vehicle velocity; releases on brake. Pairs with the speed-coupled FOV punch. Wakes around 12 m/s, saturates around 36 m/s.

Sun-anchored 70° cone fanning out from each arena's declared light direction. Outdoor arenas only (no sun = no rays). Opt-in here; off by default until the photoreal-first crowd has weighed in.

Reveals the "PHOTO HUNT · X / Y" chip on the HUD and arms the shutter as a vantage-capture detector. Lifetime totals persist across sessions; session totals reset on arena change. Vantage radii are generous so any photo taken near the marker counts.

Reveals a second export button on /replay that encodes the replay through WebCodecs (AV1 preferred, H.264 fallback) into a real mp4 container. Faster + smaller than the webm path; inlines on most social feeds. Webm stays as the Safari / WebCodecs-less fallback.

Unlockable via the konami sequence on the title screen. Boosts top speed, holds combo through impacts. Nothing here is balanced; it's a toy.

Three SHIFT-style scorers ride alongside the combo meter: SPEED STREAK (sustain >80 km/h for 3s → +30), SMOOTH RUN (8s without an impact while moving → +25), SIGHTSEEING (every fresh vantage capture → +50). Toast on each fire; points feed the same combo + zone path as movement.

Three full-screen post effects that layer over the splat scene at speed: radial speed-line streaks past 80 km/h, amber rim chromatic-aberration past 90 km/h, lens-flare sun glare on outdoor arenas. Combined they wash out the captured world for some viewers — off by default per the photoreal-first stance; opt in here if you want the arcade feel.

Reflection diagnostic. Overrides every chassis material at load time with metalness=1.0, gloss=1.0, neutral grey diffuse — so if the box-projected probe is wired correctly, the body reads as a mirror of the arena. If nothing reflects with this on, the pipeline is broken (not the BMW source materials). Also dumps a per-material reflection snapshot to the browser console. Restart the arena (R) or reload the page after toggling.
